Product Overview
This rifled musket, with the lock marking "1861 Springfield" and an eagle, was the principal firearm of the Civil War. At the end of 1863, most federal infantrymen were armed with either the Springfield or the 1853 3-Band Enfield Musket. The one-piece barrel is forged steel, and the one-piece stock is oil-finished walnut. Features a swelled ramrod, like the original muskets. NSSA approved. Features a white satin frame, steel butt plate, steel trigger guard, and steel barrel bands.
