The handle on this short starter is a 1 3/4" diameter hardwood ball. The long leg is select hickory with a brass tip to prevent splitting. The short leg is solid brass on all the starters. Both legs are spherically cupped to prevent damage to the ball when loading. Item # DI60173 |
