Short Starter - Wood

The handle on this short starter is a 1 3/4" diameter hardwood ball. The long leg is select hickory with a brass tip to prevent splitting.   The “Wood” model is great for .50 caliber and larger.  The short leg is solid brass on all the starters. Both legs are spherically cupped to prevent damage to the ball when loading.  Item # NR60172
