This fine rifle was carried by western pioneers and fur trappers all across the Western states during the mid 1800’s. Styled after rifles made by famous makers such as the Hawken, Gemmer and Dimick. No other factory assembled rifle offers the authentic styling that the Lyman “Great Plains” rifle offers.
“Classic” Great Plains Rifle: This classic model features a 32” barrel with 1 in 60” twist for patched round balls, double set triggers, separate ramrod entry thimble and nose cap and a reliable coil spring lock.
